Finding the right therapist for you.
Am I the right fit for you?
The road to self discovery is scary, and you are taking the first steps in seeking out the right therapist for you.
It’s an important investment and you want to make sure you find just the right connection. My approach is deeply personal. Working with each person to learn and identify how they are impacted by the stories of their life and their history. In doing so, we are able to bring out what is truly possible.
Rebecca is an empathic provider who will work with you to identify your goals.
“It's like everyone tells a story about themselves inside their own head. Always. All the time. That story makes you what you are. We build ourselves out of that story.”
― Patrick Rothfuss, The Name of the Wind
The power of stories
I believe strongly in the power of our stories. From a very young age, we all start learning things about ourselves and our world. These “life lessons” start to turn into the stories we repeat to ourselves over and over again. They become who we are. Those stories are not always nice and they hold us back.
But most importantly, they are often not true! They are the stories we created when we were young and we have retold them to ourselves over and over again in a weird game of telephone with one player.
Rebecca will work with you to dig deep while feeling safe and confident in the process.
I work with people to help them unfold the stories of their lives
We identify what is helpful and what is causing harm, and work to move forward. I believe there is a significant connection between the mind and the body, using my trauma centered approach, we will work to move through the things that hold you back.
We will step down into the self and explore the “you” that is there. Discovering all the hidden strengths within your core.
What I do
I make use of traditional interventions such as cognitive behavior therapy, narrative story telling, mindfulness and meditation, and body centered grounding techniques. Together we will work to change the story you tell yourself about who you are supposed to be.
I work to attune to your needs. My style is flexible and my goal is to identify the interventions and perspective that will meet your individual needs most effectively.
Many of my former clients have told me therapy with me is like “clearing out the gunk”. That they don’t “feel crazy” anymore because for the first time they understand why they have struggled and they know how to work through these stressors moving forward.
“To love yourself is to recognize your body and to release tension in your body. To allow yourself to be nourished by feelings of joy, feelings of happiness.”
—Thich Nhat Hanh

Removing the roadblocks to Quality Care.
I chose providing services through video, otherwise known as telehealth or teletherapy, to help overcome the things that get in the way of people seeking the quality care they deserve and need. I don’t want you to have to compromise your time, your schedule, and your life to get what you want. Therapy is a journey, and we will take it together. We will unlock what is possible for you.
From a young age, I recognized my empathetic nature and ability to connect deeply with others. This innate quality has driven my lifelong commitment to helping people. At 18, I began my journey in health and human services, providing outreach services to at-risk youth in Boston, Massachusetts. My passion for understanding and supporting others led me to pursue a BA at Clark University, where I majored in Sociology, Psychology, and Human Development. This education helped me refine my skills and understand how to best serve others.
I continued my academic journey at Boston College, earning a Master’s in Clinical Social Work in 2004. Since then, I have provided therapy to individuals of all ages in various settings, from outpatient clinics to residential facilities. My work has always focused on reconnecting people with themselves and their support systems, and I find deep fulfillment in working with families.
How I became the provider I am today.
Treating trauma has evolved into a profound passion of mine, as I witness the transformative impact it can have on individuals' lives. Ongoing training in the treatment of trauma, including Internal Family Systems, EMDR, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, has become a crucial part of my professional development.
In both my professional and personal life, I value connection and tranquility. As a mother of three young children, my family and I moved to the peaceful woods of New Hampshire, where we try to embrace a quiet and more connected life.
